What is flywheel training and how does it work?
Flywheel training uses a spinning wheel instead of weight plates. You pull a strap to spin the wheel, and as it unwinds, it pulls back on you. The harder you pull, the harder it resists, so the resistance always matches your effort. The wheel also returns the energy you put in, which loads the lowering part of each rep as well as the lifting part. This is called eccentric overload, and it's widely used in sports performance and physiotherapy. It suits beginners and professional athletes, because you set the intensity yourself.
Who is Kynett, and why choose it?
Kynett has made flywheel training equipment in the Netherlands since 2018. Athletes, physio clinics, universities and home gym owners around the world use our devices to build strength, improve performance and support rehabilitation. Every Kynett is made in the Netherlands, CE (MDR) certified and comes with a 1-year warranty. We ship worldwide, and shipping is free on orders over €200 / $200.
How is flywheel training different from lifting weights?
With traditional weights, the resistance is fixed. With a flywheel, you pull a strap to spin a wheel, and the wheel pulls back with the energy you put in. The harder you pull, the more resistance you get, so every rep adapts to your effort. It also loads the lowering part of each rep, not just the lifting part, which is called eccentric overload and is widely used in sports performance and physiotherapy. There are no plates to load or swap, and one compact device trains your whole body at home, in the clinic or outdoors.
What is the difference between Kynett HOME, FIT and PRO?
The HOME is our light, portable starter device, ideal for home training and rehab. The FIT is built from aluminum and works with more disc sizes, so you get more exercises and resistance, and you can take it anywhere. The PRO is the stationary version with a wall mount, made for clinics, studios and permanent home gyms.

It's made for athletes, coaches and physiotherapists who want a strong setup they can take with them, and it also works well for group training and home users.
